Driving through the beautiful Piedmont area of  North Carolina, you might just come upon our slice of heaven we share with our alpacas. Located on forty rolling acres one hour northwest of Raleigh/Durham, just south of Clarksville, Virginia; we have carved out a peaceful retreat for an idea that started 2 years ago when we began researching and planning to make our dream of owning and breeding alpacas a reality.

We began by visiting alpaca farms, going to shows, researching the care of these beautiful animals, and finally purchasing 3 pregnant females before finally finding our farm to call home.  With beautiful pastures backing up to a forest that winds down to a beautiful creek and a 2-acre pond for viewing pleasure; we knew we had found the perfect place to begin our business.

We had our first alpacas delivered in June, 2011; our first cria was born in October, 2011.  He is a spunky, healthy male born to Sparkle whose sire is the beautiful true black King Kohl.

We are still a work in progress; our barn, built just for our males is almost finished, and we are expecting two more births in the Spring of 2012.

Pastures, bordered by fencing with alpacas separated by similar age, sex and breeding status. They can be found grazing in slightly rolling pastures or cushed in their own covered feeding areas eating hay and observing the forest that completely surrounds the perimeter fencing. Beach Run Farm is the culmination of the decision to focus on top-quality black, grey, and rose grey alpacas.  We have put together a herd with great genetics, temperament, conformity, and beautiful fleece.  We live here on the farm with our alpacas and give them 100% of our best care and love.
